Australian Museum (Sydney)

Australian Museum is located on the intersection of William Street and College Street in Sydney and is one of the oldest museums in Australia. Opened in 1827 by Earl Bathurst, it is famous for its collection on natural history and diversity across the whole world. Originally it was established as the Colonial Museum or Sydney Museum and was renamed to Australian Museum in 1836.

As Australia is famous for its flora and fauna, one of the attractions is its native animal Koala. Along with this Koala, different species of spider, frogs, colorful insects, birds and mammals are some treasures that thrive here. But the diversity of sea animals is much more fascinating than the terrestrial animals. Different fishes, sea tulips, sea squirts, jellyfish, plankton, crustaceans, etc. are the sea animals preserved by Australian Museum Sydney. The unique Australian bats and wild parrots are also one of the attractions of this museum. The museum also conducts research on reptiles like snakes and lizards due to which some unusual breeds of these reptiles are present in this museum. Research material on Dinosaurs is also available at the museum.

The museum also conducts exhibitions and events showcasing the diversity of the animals by way of videos, lectures and other shows. They also have a souvenir store where one can find different articles related to animals at this museum. This is a must visit place whenever one is visiting Australia.

Neeraj's 7 days trip to Sydney

Really satisfied with the trip! All the hotels provided had pretty good location. Rohit from Hubholiday was very active throughout all stages of the trip, right from planning the itinerary to the very end . We planned our entire itinerary during late hours and Rohit was happily available to receive calls during those odd hours mostly after 12 midnight! Execution was as good as the planning. These guys , Rohit and Prashant, were available for queries throughout the trip. They entertained even the last minute changes. Overall an excellent trip to a beautiful country!

Sachin's 10 days trip to Sydney

We did not like the arrangements at all. They could have been much better planned and executed if they would have thought about their customers even a bit. After hundreds of calls, messages and emails from my husband, the final vouchers were handed to us 8 hours before our flight.. we did not even have time to take a careful look at them.. The sightseeing tours were not selected thoughtfully. Most of the sightseeings were at max 1.5 hours long and repititive like the Skydeck in Melbourne, Skypoint in Gold coast, Harbour cruise in Sydney, etc.. and then the entire day was left free, which is good for some days but not all days which was the case with us. Better sightseeing tours should have been planned. We had to book several additional sightseeing tours on Viator.com so as to be able to experience Australia.. If we would have followed only the itinerary prepared by the agent, we wouldn't even have seen a Kangaroo or Koala Bear even after spending so much money and staying for 10 days in Australia.. It was evident that the cheapest of sightseeing tours available were booked for us, for example, the cruise in Sydney was an hour long and consisted of us just sitting on a ferry and seeing the harbour without anyone telling us what we are seeing.. It was a complete waste of time, we got much more information while riding on Ferries for our visit to the zoo that we booked separately.. No pickups from our Hotels were arranged even when complimentary pickups were available with the tours booked.. No directions were provided to us regarding where to reach and how.. No information on local transport available and how to travel was provided.. We know how Google Maps work and therefore got to the specified locations, however, any aged or not so tech savvy travellers would have missed their tours repeatedly.. It was a total chaos. On top of all that, this was my husband's birthday trip and he had told this to the agent several times, but they were not even courteous enough to book us a cake.. The agent wished a very Happy Birthday to my husband on Whatsapp though.. The rooms booked for us in Sydney didn't have complimentary breakfast and were so small that there was hardly any space to stand apart from the queen bed that was provided to the 2 of us.. The upgrades were available starting at just Rs. 1500 per night but they booked us the cheapest option so that they could pocket as much money as possible.. We felt cheated time and again during the entire trip. We will never travel with HubHolidays again and would suggest others too not to make that mistake..

Jayesh's 8 days trip to Sydney

We booked the flight tickets from HubHolidays. Yeeshu and Prashant handled our booking pretty well. Yeeshu was extremely proactive in checking flight tickets for us. For about a week or so he kept checking tickets until we got the best one. He kept the tickets on hold for us when he found appropriate and low fare flight for us and we did the bookings in no time. I couldn't have got that rates by myself. This included the travel insurance and VISA assistance as well. VISA assistance (Pawan and Team) also amazingly handled and we had no problem whatsoever. The sightseeing options provided were also good and at comparable rates but we wanted to see them at our leisure at the destination itself. In all, it was a great experience for us and would recommend to check them out while planning a trip. Shout out to Yeeshu again for handling our booking well. :)

Mail's 15 days trip to Sydney

We got a wonderful arrangements from HubHoliday. Amit took real pain for planning our itinerary, which was very well executed. Prashant's efforts for co-ordinating with us during our trip were commendable. They were responsive even at 3am. The best part was knowledge that both Amit & Prashant had. The sightseeing tours were selected very thoughtfully & they gave us accurate information about our trips, for maximum coverage. Since I was there for my honeymoon, they ensured that I get plenty of leisure time while covering all major viewpoints. I will definitely travel with HolidayHub again and the future.
