Mumbai To Nepal By Flight

There are two frequently operating flights between the place – Jet Airways and Nepal airlines Mumbai to Kathmandu flights. The former takes around 2 hours 30 minutes and the second flight takes 2 hours 50 minutes to reach Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) from Mumbai.

Mumbai To Nepal By Train: The best route to travel from Mumbai to Nepal by train, one has to first go from LTT terminus in Mumbai to Gorakhpur Junction, and from there travellers can take a bus or hire a car. Kushinagar Express, Godan Express, and Gorakhpur Express are direct trains between Mumbai and Gorakhpur. It takes around 30 to 35 hours to reach Gorakhpur from Mumbai by train. And then another 3 hours to reach Nepal from Gorakhpur.

Faced difficulty due to very bad road from Kathamandu to Pokhra.
