Best time to Visit Binsar, Almora

Binsar is one of the beautiful hill stations in the state of Uttarakhand that can come after the Himalayas. The city is mostly known for mesmerizing views of the sublime peaks of Himalaya. The best time to visit Binsar is during the months of October and November. During this time, the weather is pleasant and offers you clear breathtaking views. One of the fascinating attractions is the Bird sanctuary which is loved by everyone. People do not know anything about Binsar but after knowing about this place you would be attracted to it. Although, it is a small town which has a population similar to a colonial area but it is truly worth a visit. While there is pleasant weather in Binsar but there is always the best and favorable time where you can visit.

November to March

As Binsar is a hill station you can visit there during the winter season which begins from November. You can say it is one of the peak times and people love to visit during this time. After visiting here you can experience the winter to its fullest and enjoy it properly. You will get the opportunity to see snowfall during this period of time. In other words, you can say that winter is the best time to visit Binsar. So if you want to have an experience of the snowfall which you might not have seen before come here and experience it.

April to July

These are the dangerous summer months in Binsar when you will not feel like visiting. But there are people who love to visit hill stations during summer and get the best fun out of it. Though it might not be perfect like winter you will get to enjoy your leisure trip. The temperature remains around 30 degrees and does not rise above that so you do not have to worry about it. Summer nights can get automatically cold so you can be aware of reducing a little bit of temperature during summer. August to October

These are the peak monsoon months and this is the next favorable time after winter. During this time the city receives a minimum rainfall which increases the glamour without obstructing any tourist activities. Overall the experience was okayish. Not very great not very bad. Hotels were fine but could have been cleaner. Hotels in Jim Corbett and Bhimtal were ok. Hotel in Kausani was pretty good. Cab driver's behaviour wasn't very good. At times the driving was rash and had to ask them to control the speed.

Not at all suitable for family to travel. The roads are completely in hilly region and when traveling with small kids and aged people, its expected that the drive is smooth. Rash driving causes vomiting plus seemed very unsafe at times. Post the travel, drivers used to get drunk and didn't seem fully in their senses. Travel agent was not decisive, had to pay the diesel money to drivers even though we were told not to pay. Travel agent after speaking with drivers asked to pay and assured that the owner of cars would return that money back which was weird. Positive about the travel agent was 2 people got added later after some of the bookings were done but she ensured their accommodation. Kausani stay Caves in nainitaal

Rating as overall satisfactory as the driver provided is not a native driver and worse not given/shared itinerary. We ended up updating everyday about the points to visit and even Google maps to get short route or asking localities alot. Rest all good. View at Ranikhet stay

The cab was clean and cab driver was also helpful and provided good guidance in the entire trip. There were no false promises and commitments.
