About Merlion In Sentosa

The Merlion Sentosa is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. It is a symbol of Singapore which is said to be the guardian of the prosperity of Singapore. The Sentosa Merlion is one of the major tourist attractions in Singapore and stands as a true reflection of the culture of Singapore and also symbolizes the fishing village of Temasek. It is said that the Merlion protects Singapore from any natural, financial or economic crises.

Among the many things to do in this place, the Sentosa Merlion light show is quite famous. It is a night show which offers beautiful storytelling with the help of water, fire and laser shows. The show takes place every night, and two additional shows are held over the weekend. The Sentosa Merlion is a place which keeps the tourists glued to it for various things it has to offer, and the beautiful places around it.

The Merlion Park Sentosa is also a pleasant place, where one can spend some quality time with their family and friends amongst the beautiful trees and flower beds. Located near the port, the Merlion Park Sentosa offers a great view of the water body. Sitting near the lush green bushes and trees, one can enjoy some awesome views. The place is best for picnics and is quite safe.

I had booked the hote by myself and had taken tour sevices from TravelTraingle. I am happy with everything except the cab services offered. It is not flexible at all for ex I asked change in airport drop one week in advance but it was accommodated and askwd to pay more than taxi fare for the same. Also couple of drivers we got were driving too fast, more than the speed limits

Tour was good but we faced problems at some places. There was a timing issue as we were picked/dropped with a gap of 2-2 hours from the actual time. At MBS my child was enrolled as infant which was incorrect and I had to purchase ticket on the spot. I was charged 5000 extra for last day cab after finalyzing the package amount. Cruise experience was good.
