Kshitij's 8 days trip to Andaman
Dreamz yatra was the agency that my family of 3 members chose for this 8D/7N trip to Andaman. The itinerary included Port Blair, Baratang caves, Ross and Smith Islands, Havelock and Neill Islands. The overall experience was good with the itinerary properly planned, the cab drivers present at the correct location at the correct time holding placards and waiting for us. But there were a few issues whose absence would have made this trip just amazing. 1. The hotel at Port Blair was just too small to accommodate 3 people. We raised this issue the moment we entered the room. But our tour operator at Port Blair said there was nothing he could do. Finally with patchy network we had to call the support number who then directed us to the correct authority and we were able to get the hotel changed. I am glad that the hotel was changed but if they had booked a proper hotel initially it would have been better. Plus it looked as if there was no communication between the tour operator and the tour agency which should be there. It is also difficult to call someone in Andaman because of Network issues. 2. The cab driver who took us to Baratang Caves and Diglipur was not very punctual. We were ready at the decided time to leave for Baratang Caves. But the cab and the cab driver was not in sight. We waited for 15 minutes and then called the tour operator. He then sorted out the matter. This was still a small issue. But on the last day we had to catch our flight back to Chennai and again he was not there. We called the tour operator again and after 10 minutes of waiting the driver finally arrived. Thankfully we were able to board the flight but the boarding had already started by the time we finished our security check. We could have as easily missed the flight. It was very unprofessional on the agency's part that the tourists had to wait for the driver. Normally it is the other way around! 3. The driver drove the cab too slow. On our trip to Diglipur there were some patches where the road was good. Even on those roads he drove at a speed of 20-30 km/h with the cab always at 4th gear even when the gradient was uphill. So even after leaving for Port Blair at 3:00 am from Diglipur it was after 5 PM that we reached Port Blair. 4. The condition of the cab to Diglipur was not very good. The windows were not working due to some issue with the power window button. We managed with the Air Conditioning for 3 days and expected that they would get the cab serviced. But no when we returned to Port Blair from Neil Island the condition of the cab was still the same. 5. I had specifically asked the agency to guide me in choosing the best location for Scuba Diving. But I am not sure that they did a good job of it. I am still confused whether I should have dived at Neill Island rather than at Havelock. Apart from these issues the tour was well organised. We covered all the points given in the itinerary and nowhere did we feel that we had to rush. The hotels at Neill and Havelock Islands were good and comfortable. Same goes for the cabs at these islands.

This is my second trip with Travel Triangle.First one I had really good experience unlike this one.I won't blame tTravel Triangle for this, because the fault was from the Da Ocean agents.We have faced multiple issues within our trip, mainly in Havelock island, missed few places because of that. As other people already mentioned, Bablu(He told they have not received the payment from travel triangle) because of which they cancelled our plan without informing.Sneha/Anita from this tour travels, they rarely respond to our calls.As there is already network issues, they get a excuse for same.And cruise n all booking they have booked according to their timing which was totally different from that mentioned in quote.So they asked us to take morning cruise instead of afternoon, so that whole will be a waste for you.Please check your hotel bookings and cruise tickets one day before, last moment they will make you regret.For Elephant Beach the entry ticket was mentioned in quote, but it was not booked.We did the bookings.Later we got refund for same after multiple calls. In neil island also , we have faced issue in hotel, they have not made the payment.So while leaving we have been asked to pay.But we didnt agree and we told like...we will miss the cruise but we are not going to pay.Then the driver paid for us. Andaman is a nice place, please make the booking from a good tour agent, and go through reviews to know better.Don't make these people spoil your vacation :)

Thanks to Travel Triangle, through Aman of Holiday Feats, we had an excellant 8 day holiday tour of Andamans. Right from the start to the last day we did not face any problem in the tour. All our changes and issues were solved within no time before the visit. I did not even had to call Aman any time during the stay. The Hotels were perfect, excellant food made as per our choice everywhere. The stay at Runway Inn at Port Blair needs a special mention. The manger was always on his toes to help us in everything. The roof top restaurant was spacious and airy with the Port Blair runway just yards away! The live kitchen was spick and span. The other hotels were good too. Laxmi continental hotel was situated in a world of its own with greenery all around. I would be doing injustice the the drivers who were punctual all throuout and helped with tickets and ferry boardings. They gave us insights into the life in the islands. And yes we had a action packed holiday! I would recomment Aman, Holiday Feats, to anyone who would like a trouble free visit to Andamans

Viswanath and Sankar did a great job of point-to-point pick up and drop. We were 6 of us, with 6 travel bags and 6 hand bags. Obviously, all of us would not fit in one Ertiga, and therefore they arranged 2 Ertiga's for us (bags and passengers, separately). There was some mis-communication about a particular visit in the iternary, and Viswanath-Geeta (From Travel Triangle) sorted it out in a jiffy. The hotel staff and facilities were decent, and WiFi was good. Cable TVs channels were good-average, depending on where we were staying. TT did a great job getting us a beach resort at Havelock. Nautika rides were best, especially from Havelock to Nein. Other ferry rides were average. There could be more efficiencies in taking people around, especially at Light Show/Cellular Jail. Overall, a pleasent experience.

Im very happy about the overall experience of our Andaman trip.It was hassel free....the pickups were on time and there was no confusion or miscommunication. I just have one complaint.....the Itinerary showed tour of Ross Island.....but due to Republic Day celebration that Island was closed.Though it was a valid reason,it should have been told us in advance .All the drivers were very punctual,polite and safe drivers. Our Stay at Havelock was the best.....its a beautiful Island with wonderful water sports.....

We had a nice trip. The cab services were nice and all the hotels and tickets were taken care properly. But when we wanted to visit alternate places when some places are closed due to rain the driver was not ready to take us there and instead asked us extra money since it was not there in the itinerary. We had to waste a whole day because we visited a place in itinerary when it was raining before and they were not ready to take us to any other places.

Trip went good. But service agent spolied the motto of trip, False promises and taking for granted thinking caused us alot. We stayed in Radha Krishna resort in Havelock, actual room booked was deluxe they gave us normal room after one day of staying in there we fought back to deluxe room. And second most important thing was birthday cake it may sound silly but it is very important to me. One month before I told them about cake, every second of the trip i reminded them about it. They didn't even order it,at the last moment we went order at night for midnight cake. Everything planned on the trip was for that one particular moment which is spolied in worse manner. I seriously won't recommended the Get Destination agents if u planning for something special for someone or surprise event in trip and mainly don't go honey moon in this trip agencies. Andaman and Nicobar Islands is very good family trip destination. We enjoyed the trip in various manner even though of up and downs of trip

I cannot say the trip was worst or best. Though it was a combination of good and bad things. The trip didn't went as scheduled while making a booking as there were communication gap between the central agency and on site agent. Which lead to wastage of a day during the trip.

Havelock villa and Neil villa. Portblair Jail. Radhanagar and kalapathar beaches. Missed Smith Island, u have to propose it as we r not aware of.

The travel agency assistance was there throughout the trip. Ms.Anita helped me in customizing my trip plan and also provided options to choose from. She was always just a msg away even during the trip. The location coordinators' and hotels' service was also good and friendly but they could have been more agile on ground. While they hurried on leaving the place on time to do their next pickup, the same hurry wasn't there during our arrival where we need to reach the place and call them for pickup. The hotel service were very good and prompt. Only a couple of points like cleanliness and taking care of pure veg food requirements and having options for it (very lil South Indian options) could be looked upon. These are minor points which when looked upon could have elevated the experience even more. My family enjoying few water sports activities for the first time and travelling in the ferry. Some of the islands had beautiful and unique visuals.
