Chandigarh To Srinagar By Flight: Air is the fastest and the most convenient way to reach from Chandigarh to Srinagar. There are direct flights operated between the two destinations by airlines like IndiGo and GoAir. There are also connecting flights between Chandigarh to Srinagar that one can book depending upon the cost factor. It takes around 1 hour 10 minutes to reach Srinagar from Chandigarh by a direct flight. Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport Srinagar (SXR) is the main airport in Srinagar which is at a distance of 12 km from the main city of Srinagar. One can take a taxi to reach the main city from Srinagar.

Chandigarh to Srinagar By Train: There is no Chandigarh and Srinagar train in terms of direct connectivity. However, one does have an option to take a train from Chandigarh to Jammu. From Jammu one can take a cab, flight or bus to Srinagar for a safe and comfortable journey. The train distance is 12 Hours and 30 Minutes, but is definitely worthwhile if one is travelling with family or a big group.

Chandigarh to Srinagar By Car: Road journey from Chandigarh to Srinagar takes about 12 to 13 hours. The distance from Chandigarh to Srinagar by road is approximately 562 kms. Chandigarh to Srinagar by Bus: There is no direct Chandigarh to Srinagar bus available. If you still want to travel by bus, then the best option would be to travel to Amritsar by bus from Chandigarh which will take around 3 to 4 hours and then take a direct flight from Amritsar to reach Srinagar.

We recently completed our trip and overall it was a good experience. The hotels arranged were comfortable and well maintained. The cab driver was polite and drove safely throughout the trip. However, we faced some challenges due to language barriers. Since we are from South India and the driver spo

ke only Hindi, communication was sometimes difficult. Additionally, apart from the package inclusions, we did not receive much support from the vendor or driver for local arrangements. For activities like booking union taxis and other plans outside the package, we had to manage on our own. Because of this, we struggled with bargaining and ended up paying higher charges. We feel the package vendor could improve their service by assisting customers with local coordination and guidance beyond just hotel and cab arrangements. Overall, the trip was good, but better support and communication would have made the experience much smoother and more comfortable.
